The Philippine House of Representatives is celebrating its 110th anniversary.
In line with the House of Representatives’ month-long celebration, the organizers have conducted exhibits, displays and workshops—one of which is the House of Representatives Photography Club (HRePC) Exhibit and workshop at the North Wing Lobby of the House.
The 2017 HRePC Exhibit and Workshop is a three-day event that runs from 17 October to 19 October 2017, showing the HRepPC members’ talents through a mini gallery installed at the North Wing Lobby. The said workshop also intends to recruit new members.
Yesterday, 18 October 2007, the HRePC conducted a workshop, and one of the guest speakers and lecturers was the celebrated photographer, Ricky Ladia.

The talented Gentleman thought us about photography basics, including the dos and donts, and travel photography.
The workshop ran for more than 2 hours that included a thorough presentation of style and technique in handling and using cameras, including the introduction to artificial lighting. He also gave away limited free shirts courtesy of the sponsors.
The workshop changes my outlook on camera usage, especially concerning the proper and efficient handling and use of the camera and the style, technique and attitude.
