MOUNTAIN VIEW RESORT IN ITOGON

Mountain View Resort is a secluded place located in Itogon, Benguet. It’s about 30 minutes away from the bustling summer capital, Baguio City, with a mix of a steep hill, downhill and (partial) rough roads leading to the place. It can be accessed via “Loakan Rd” or “Tuding Rd-Romulo Drive.” It is an alternative place to explore when you are in the Pines City, Baguio City.

The resort has a lot to offer. Aside from the usual hot spring pool, the resort also has a makeshift sauna or steam bath, which is very good for our blood circulation.

Mountain view resort also has impressive hanging bridges that connect the main road to the spa. However, the river underneath is somewhat not conducive to any form of water activity due to the presence of contaminants.

Itogon is a first-class and largest (by land area) Municipality in Benguet with nine barangays. It is one of the original 19 towns established in Benguet by the Philippine Commission in 1900. It was considered as the mining capital of the Philippines during American time.
Also, in this quaint and remote town of Benguet, you can find Binga Dam, which the government, through NAPOCOR, constructed in Barangay Binga in 1956, primarily for flood control and hydropower generation.

Mountain View Resort closes every 5 in the afternoon; the water in the pools is always drained.
