LBC Ronda Pilipinas 2020 is gearing up for its 10th anniversary, which will kick off on 23 February 2020, at the southern tip of Luzon, Sorsogon Province, and will conclude in Vigan, Ilocos Sur on 4 March 2020.

The 10th anniversary of the country’s premier and most prominent cycling race covers six regions in Luzon island: Bicol, Calabarzon, NCR, Central Luzon, Cordillera, and Ilocos Region.
LBC Ronda Pilipinas started its inaugural race in 2011 which aimed at changing the landscape of Philippine cycling.
Initially, Santy Barnachea won the overall championship of the inaugural race of the LBC Ronda Pilipinas in 2011.
In the history of LBC Ronda Pilipinas Race, two participating riders had won two championship titles. They are Santy Barnachea and Jan Paul Morales, under the Philippine Navy team.

The seasoned rider, Santy Barnachea, got the overall titles in Ronda Pilipinas maiden edition in 2011 and its 5th edition in 2015, while Jan Paul Morales won back-to-back championships in 2016 and 2017.

Now, both riders are expected to display stage and individual honors in a record-breaking attempt to get the 3rd LBC Ronda Pilipinas Overall Championship title.
In a rare opportunity, past Ronda Pilipinas champions will be joining this year’s race except for 2013 Ronda Pilipinas Champion Irish Valenzuela and the 2019 Ronda Pilipinas Spanish Champion, Francisco Mancebo Perez.

Eighty-eight riders from eleven teams will battle it out in Luzon highways, with a total of 1,367.7 kilometers from February 23 to March 4, 2020.
