This year, Team Go For God is gunning for LBC Ronda Pilipinas leadership and championship with Coach Ednalyn Hualda at the helm.

Two teams comprised of the elite and developmental from Hualda-led groups are out to engage in a highly competitive local race to win individual, team, and stage honors.

One million pesos are up for grabs this year as LBC Ronda Pilipinas celebrates its 10th anniversary.

A total of eleven teams composed of 88 road racers will be officially presented and introduced today with welcome dinner hosted by the Provincial Government of Sorsogon here in the capital city, Sorsogon City, before the start of lung-busting races, which starts tomorrow.

In an interview with Edz Hualda, she reiterated Go For Gold’s trailblazing practice, which is to develop and train young, disciplined cyclists competitively.

After that, Hualda supervised the 7-Eleven Roadbike Philippines team in 2013 in which in the same year, they won overall team classification in the 3rd edition of LBC Ronda Pilipinas. Her stint in 7-Eleven lasted until 2014.

In 2015, she established her cycling team, Cebu Kopiko, which likewise competed in LBC Ronda Pilipinas. Hualda also superintended the Loft Cycling Team comprised of Bruneian riders and only Filipino member, Ronnel Hualda.

Later, in 2016, Coach Edz Hualda was introduced by his cyclist husband, Ronnel Hualda, to the sports patron and Powerball vice-president Jeremy Go, who founded Go For Gold Sports Program in 2002.
