SYNOPSIS | Lingayen Gulf Cycling Challenge 2021

Sixty-two riders including four professional superteams such as Philippine Navy Standard Insurance, Go For Gold, 7-Eleven and Excellent Noodles, accepted the highly anticipated Excellent Noodles sponsored-cycling challenge, mustered in Baywalk Lingayen on 19 December 2021.

THE PHILIPPINE NAVY TOP GUN RONALD ORANZA

Ronald Nozuelo Oranza was born on 2 December 1992 in Barangay San Nicolas, Villasis Town, in the Province of Pangasinan. The five-foot-ten Navy all-rounder is the youngest among eleven children of farmer Daniel Fabro Oranza and Barangay Health Worker Oranza Dominga Nozuelo Oranza.

PHILIPPINE NAVY ALL-ROUNDER EL JOSHUA CARIÑO

The Philippine Navy all-rounder, El Joshua Cariño, is the 21st Pangasinan cycling great since his province mate Rufino Gabot won the cycling championship in the eight-day Tour of Luzon in 1957. Since then, the next races have marked the domination of Pangasinenses in Philippine cycling history.

GO FOR GOLD TIME TRIALIST: MARCRYAN LAGO

Go For Gold Time Trialist Marcryan Lago was born on 13 July 2001 in Taguig City. Lago is the fifth among the eight children of the first Filipino gold medalist in Duathlon, Ryan Mendoza, who is now part of the regular force of the Philippine Air Force and Vilma Lago, a homemaker.
